Yank, Russian Are Deadlocked
Buenos Aires (CP)-Samuel Reshevsky of the United a States and Viktor Korchnoi of Russia tied for first place in the month-long International chess tournament that ended here.
In his final match Reshevsky was held to draw by Fridrik Olafsson of Iceland in 20 moves while the Russian got a draw with Wolfgang Uhlmann of East Germany in 74 moves.
Reshevsky and Korchnoi finished with 13 points each. The American won eight, drew 10 and lost one match in the 19 rounds. The Russian won nine, drew eight and lost two.
Bobby Fischer of the United States finished in a four-way tie for 13th place with 8½ points.
