Chess champions in action
While Larry Evans, former United States champion, was hard pressed by Wolfgang Unzicker of West Germany to hold the lead the international chess masters tournament at Buenos Aires, he as well as Pal Benko, Bobby Fischer and Samuel Reshevsky were doing their full share to keep American representatives well up among the leaders, including many of the world's outstanding grandmasters.
Unzicker is upholding the tradition of the old German school which was in the saddle at the turn of the century.
Following are game scores which have reached here from the scene of struggle.
